I have the following class mapping :
<class name='Collaborateur' alias='collaborateur'>

In another cpm file, I have the following non root mapping :
<class name='Collaborateur' alias='titiColtoto' root="false">

And Hibernate Gps device never updates the index for collaborateur. (looks like hasMappingForEntityForMirror always returns false)

If I change to this :
<class name='Collaborateur' alias='titicoltoto' root="false">

Hibernate Gps device does update the index on collaborateur's changes.

Is it an expected behaviour or not?

This is a bug in Compass. Compass goes and checks for the first mappings it finds, and if it is a root mapping it returns true. In this case, the first one it finds is the wrong one.

I have fixed this for both 1.2 M1 and 1.1.2 (Should be released soon).
